Lost Landscapes Recreated

Kingskerswell Church & Manor Court c.16C.

The Manor House at Kingskerswell fell into disuse & subsequent ruin in the late 16th C. To date no images have been found.
As with the previous picture, this view from the S.E. has been put together with the help of local historian Gerald Quinn following his liaison with the archaeologists involved with itsí excavation.

Where we can only speculate on detail, some aspects have been shown slightly differently from the first picture.
Evidence has been found that the trout ponds shown existed at the S.E. corner of the current churchyard.
